Maybe try reading the Budapest Memorandum, instead of crying about the US.

@possumverde Your comment says otherwise.

One uses them as a deterrent. The other wants to use them as a weapon of war. Big difference.
10
Are you high? That hurricane was yesterday.

@possumverde Islamic Republic of Iran has been accused by several countries of training, financing, and providing weapons and safe havens for non-state militant actors, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and other Palestinian groups such as the Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. These groups are designated terrorist groups by a number of countries and international bodies such as the EU, UN, and NATO, but Iran considers such groups to be "national liberation movements" with a right to self-defense against Israeli military occupation. They are not the same as Ukraine during the post-Soviet era.
7
@sinewave1k735 You must have missed the point. Try again.
6
FEMA even had to release a comment on their website to debunk this nonsense rhetoric.
5
@darrenlocke5627 Because holding back the crisis relief bill for 2 weeks while trying to shove an airline takeover into it just screams reliability. Right?
5
@darrenlocke5627 I couldn't care less about your political affiliation. Or anybody else's, for that matter. Step outside of your shoes for a minute. She ripped apart the State of the Union address on national television. I don't care who you like or hate in politics. That behavior is unprofessional, most especially at that level. That wouldn't even be acceptable behavior in grade school. When the leaders act like children, the people follow and we all look stupid.
5
@Emerica771 Absolutely 💯. Trying to equate the two is ridiculous.
4
Why not show bodycam from the other officer so we can see her try to throw the pot at him?
4
@darrenlocke5627 Here, in Florida, nobody is outside complaining about political party. Everybody is pitching in. You've gotta get over it. If you've picked a team, you've already lost.
4
@KirksCORNER1983 Because internet conspiracy theory by children is more reliable than the professionals actually involved, right?
3
@KirksCORNER1983 Considering the rhetoric, it just seems apparent. I don't know many adults which can afford to live in delusion. Not functioning adults anyways.
3
@darrenlocke5627 Florida is Republican, right? What state is getting hit by the hurricanes? So one could just as easily say that those most effected and with the most experience on the ground did not see the proposed FEMA funding extension as beneficial, yeah? Maybe because FEMA has been in trouble for over a decade due to misappropriation of funds? Less than 200 disaster inspectors who are mostly elderly. But the people who know best, don't know best, yeah? xD
3
@jays2551 It's easier for them to regurgitate unfounded anecdotal information than it is to take 10 minutes and read something. There's a reason that the definitions of common and popular are synonymous with vulgar and are not suited to the intellectual.
2
It needed a revision. FEMA funding has been misappropriated for too long. There are less than 200 FEMA disaster inspectors today. They don't need everything they're asking for, where they're asking for it. They haven't been funding the failing sectors in over a decade. One might think that the people in Florida have more experience on the ground with this sort of thing.
2
@chillindylan9828 That's way out of context, and no you don't. FEMA has released a comment on their website to debunk that nonsense rhetoric.
2
@alexm3253 That's exactly what it means. We've sent 5% of fires to Ukraine and are making more to send. We send them our old inventory while we update. It's not free, it's on lend-lease. Ukraine has trillions in minerals ,natural gas, soft white flour and more. It's a bit more complex than somebody with childish political rhetoric can understand, apparently.
2
@alexm3253 Fires means weaponry. HLC uses the same terminology. Do try and act like an adult. It's difficult, I know, but at least try to act like it.
2
@alexm3253 By HLC using the same terminology, that translates into people in the military who are working in these fields using the terminology. You know, the experts who are actually working with Ukraine? Your failure to recognize the terminology and then insult me for it are telling of your education and maturity levels. Both of which are apparently low to non-existent. Do try and be better in the future.
2
@jays2551 The ability to see the bigger picture is uncommon. I can tell that you're young. You still have faith in people and are still frustrated when their perspective is limited. That's because 85% of them need their hands held and are on cruise control. Conformity is the death of reason. Stay in contrast.
1
@alhambrabiker1476 Have you heard about Operation Opera or the destruction of the Iranian nuclear research facility last October? Iran's detection and defensive systems from Russia have been proven useless.
1
Ah, yes, "overweight". Let them all keep thinking that means fat.
1
@Dr.Mcstaby Too right. The coastline is obscured from all of the garbage hotels.
1
@CBT5777 Long, long ago, our insurance took it as hurricane damage when a small tornado hit the corner of our house. But that was then.
1
@orgikacaj3270 No, it was on.
1
@chillindylan9828 Disaster inspection and relief programs have been underfunded and understaffed for at least a decade. There are less than 200 of them today and most FEMA disaster inspectors are elderly. They don't go in during a disaster. They inspect the damage afterwards. People have their own insurance. FEMA ensures that each household has 1 phone, 1 tv, no mold, a bed for each registered occupant and THEN you get the money for repairs on top.
1
@sareeyemanusqaame8723 All. We even gave aid to China until 2018. Most of WFP funding is also from America. The United States gives more funding to the world than, well, the rest of the world.
1
@omarb8655 😂
1
What are you on about? Did you not hear the FEMA rep say that they have plenty for now and will need more if there's another disaster this year? Where is the failure?
1
That's fair. But not everybody is a bad guy.
1
@thereckoning5084 I think we might. Some states have forgotten that protests on public highways is denial of freedom of transportation. Some are letting people relieve themselves in public with no consequence. Some are not charging people with theft if it's under a certain value. Maybe not "new" laws, but maybe enforce existing laws and bring back some old ones like "no stealing".
1
@anotherperspective8263 Riiiight. So what's stopping people from coming into your home and treating it as their own? So edgy, but still wrong.
1
@anotherperspective8263 Here's a better response lol. It's called a justice system, not pre-crime. People avoid criminal behavior due to consequence. Minority Report was just a movie.
1
@anotherperspective8263 Do you think that you are what prevents crime? Do you have main character syndrome? lol
1
@anotherperspective8263 Really smart move, immediately liking your own comments. It really increases the impact of your writings lol.

osamabinladenssecondgirlfr4241 Just a note on the jobs bit, a lot of that business from Foxxconn, Apple, Samsung, etc. would've gone to the US if certain deals weren't broken on day 1. Add the pipelines. Could've been 40 million instead of 6 and a lot of it would've been easily accessible unskilled labor.
1
@alexkalexk6895 You think that your team makes you smart? You think you're "right" because of the team you choose? You're trapped.
