@ingamgoduka57 Lap dog? Good joke. Look at their GDP over time and ranking in the world for overall GDP. It won't be long before Turkey has greater wealth and a stronger military than Russia. Turkey, like Poland, has achieved financial and military independence. Armenia has distanced from Russia. Azerbaijan, once a possible route of invasion from Russia, is now closely allied with Turkey. Most of Turkey's anti-air systems are made in the west or in Turkey. Hercules, Hawk, Hisars, Rapier etc., it's public info... They are no lap dog, but you go ahead and keep trying to convince people that they're somehow victims of success. NATO is an alliance of sovereign nations with no disputes and Turkey is one of the strongest members. Get over it.

@cmdrcrimbo The old frames have reached end-of-life and were decommissioned from Kadena Air Base, Japan, apparently. "The Air Force’s F-15Cs and Ds are well into their third decade — some even pushing 40 years — and are nearing the end of their lives." Plans had called for Oregon’s 173rd Fighter Wing, home of the Air Force’s F-15 schoolhouse, to be the first to convert to the F-15EX, apparently plans were "reconsidered" due to the slower-than-expected production of the EX. I've no idea where it's all at now. But the old frames wouldn't be airworthy much longer, especially without a steady supply of replacement parts.

@ingamgoduka57 The amazing bit is that you probably believe your own rhetoric.

@ingamgoduka57 Their GDP is roughly $1t. Russia's GDP was less than $1.5t in 2020. Their GDP per capita is already higher than Russia. Laugh all you like.

@ingamgoduka57 Also, they purchased 2 S-400 batteries. They have 92 Nike Hercules, 16 Hawk batteries, 86 Rapier batteries. Numbers > propaganda.

@ingamgoduka57 Also, on the efficacy of Russian anti-air, remind me... how many ships has Russia lost in The Black Sea to supersonic or subsonic missiles, along with their flagship Moskva? Patriot has stopped ICBMs/"hypersonics". Russia can't even stop a prop drone from hitting their drone factory or The Kremlin.

@Hi-how-are-you-today. You are misinformed. The Israeli cabinet voted to terminate Israel’s Lavi fighter program. An assessment performed at the time by the U.S. General Accounting Office (today’s Government Accountability Office) projected that the entire Lavi development effort—including all design, prototype and flight-test activities—was expected to cost no more than $1.9 billion in 1985 dollars. It was cancelled because of how small the planned production run was going to be and the eventual projected cost per unit with such a small run. Production plans were cut from 300 units to 150 units which increased cost per unit by 55%, meaning it was no longer a viable alternative. Nearly half of the Lavi was already intended for manufacture at U.S. facilities. This was part of the reason why the application of existing U.S. military assistance to help fund the Lavi had been endorsed by President Ronald Reagan in November 1983. Get your story straight.
