That's because our quality assurance has quality assurance. Our regulations have regulations. It can be a pain to have everything licensed and inspected but... yup.

@taterkaze9428 Depends on your contractor but at least here, in the USA, there's both pre and post drywall inspections on all new construction. Just never use an inspector hired by the contractor. Like I stated, our Q&A has Q&A.

@taterkaze9428 Also, here, if someone like, let's say a city engineer or an OSHA worker, were to take money to fully break certain regulations... buddy, it's no small crime. Obtaining money by false pretense, taking full or advance pay for unregulated/unlicensed or incomplete work, larceny for failure to perform construction, these are felonies.

@kamsunleong6648 Freight doesn't need to go faster. We have actual infrastructure and don't rely heavily on railway for transportation. Funny how someone from an Asean country is advocating for China. Do you know why Asean was created? You can be glad for yourself without the insecurity against the west.

@kenbehrens5778 Yeah, roads get resurfaced, mortar gets replaced, buildings get demolished. All in a controlled cycle and manner. Built to spec by strict engineering standards to begin with. That's why we don't have trucks falling into the roadways.

@georgeawestjr.9087 CRRC MA rail cars are Buy America compliant, provided by American suppliers, and installed by American unions.

@sans3go342 Too right. It's like giving an uncapped credit card to somebody with no credit history and letting them spend $540,000 on 40% APR when they don't have any realized assets.

@kamsunleong6648 Oh no, you don't know, do you? Who actually gives you the most aid? Who wants to tell them? Funny thing, western aid also hasn't put you into a debt trap with railways that are already falling apart. They don't care if you "pay" them or not, your currency just gets devalued in international trade. They actually prefer that you never pay the loans.

@kamsunleong6648 It's the same way a bank works. They derive value from future interests. It's why China buys marketable futures in the US housing market and allows massive debt in countries that can't pay. It gives value to the Yuan and gives them more negotiating power over India etc., especially in privileges such as Special Drawing Rights...
