@Duncan_Idaho84 As long as it takes to stop the evil which attacked Bucha. The region provides 10%+ of the global wheat supply. Russia will get Donetsk and Luhansk, because people question why we need to fight against evil.

@Duncan_Idaho84 I completely understand. It's a hard scale to balance when considering the future. Most global trade uses SDR's. Brics is a threat to the global economy. I'll take Nato over Brics any day, even if force is needed. We see what Russia does, like in Bucha. China is not if, but when, and sooner than most think.

@Duncan_Idaho84 The threat of China is exactly why we won't send more than 5% of our fires to Ukraine. People have no idea what's happening right now. Our troops are "island hopping". More than 24,000 on Okinawa alone. China is gearing up.

@Duncan_Idaho84 In total, they've sent about $85b. We've sent nearly $72b. But most of their aid is money and the far majority of our aid is actual equipment. If Russia gets the agriculture and the gas then Brics gets that much more influence. China is all over South America, lots of stuff in Africa too. They ruin countries with debt traps.

@Duncan_Idaho84 When Ukraine concedes, no matter how long it took or what Russia lost, it will send a message that military force is still a legitimate tool of diplomacy. This will only embolden China, and Russia to do it again in the future. Never forget Bucha.

That'll never happen. Russia wants Donetsk and Luhansk, that was their only real objective. They will most likely get it. They wanted it because of the wheat production there which is nearly 10% of the global supply. Russia will have an undeclared war of attrition for 10 years if needed.
