Fake News again. This is the BBC trying to create panic buying again. Shame on the BBC. The truckers are all EU drivers trying to return to the EU. The fact is that 86% of trucks entering and leaving the UK are trucks owned/registered by the EU, with EU drives. LOL

The French go on strike every few months which causes delays at Calais, that doesn't cause the UK to grind to a halt. Only 8% of UK imports go through Calais. Who is worrying about running short of Salad and Citrus fruit over Xmas???? LOL This is the BBC's failed attempt at "Project Fear" AGAIN. LOL

@aw2584 900 trucks don't take up miles of motorway. 90% of the trucks and shipping containers are still entering the UK. Plus only about 6-7% of UK imports come through Dover. The bias BBC won't tell you the facts because that doesn't meet the needs of their Anti UK/Pro EU narrative. The BBC want big scary headlines.

@aw2584 900 truck returning to the EU dont take up miles of motorway. LOL This is the BBC's failed attempt at their Pro EU/Anti UK propaganda. I know the goods entering the UK have slowed down very slightly with delays of 1-2 hours. The BBC Fail to tell people only 8% of UK imports come through Calais. Iv just had a delivery of industrial Hydraulic parts weighing 25+Kgs delivered this morning from Czech Republic dispatched on the 17th December. The tracking showed it entered the UK yesterday. Dont you understand the UK has a lot more commercial ports than Dover to Calais. My delivery came through Calais to Dover yesterday so dont believe the EU propaganda. LOL Speaking to my friend that is a trucker, he only had a 50 minute delay entering the port of Calais yesterday which happens on a semi regular basis. The French go on strike every few months which causes delays at Calais every couple of months and that doesn't cause the UK to grind to a halt. LOL .
