  1. We know China will buy up everything in Russian at Pennies on the Dollar and screw Russia permanently. That's what China has been doing way before 2008. Don't forget the Russian Ruble had already lost 60% of its value since 2008 and a further 20% in the past month. Russia doesn't do any real manufacturing without input from the West. Now that has all left Russia. The West has no choice but cripple the Russian economy so this can never happen again. The majority of Sanctions won't be lifted. Plus this has focused the very serious threat from China. Putting China under the microscope.
