Plus electric cars weight is roughly double the weighs, compared to a petrol/diesel car. Needing almost double the energy to travel the mile compared to an ICE car.

@SDK2006b So what the difference between a VW ID with the bigger battery for extended range (Approximately 120 mile real range) and a VW Golf 1.6? I think your comparing apples to oranges with your comparison. Either that or your an Eco nut that is willing to lie and manipulate the facts to meet your agenda. @SDK2006b Most people who drive electric cars were conned into the fake eco narrative. Or they are driving lease vehicle for the lower tax breaks. There are zero VW electric cars that can do 300 miles on a single charge. The owners will be lucky to get 300Kms with the wind behind them.
