  2.  @hurri7720  Why are you repeating the EU Commissions lies? The EU only had a Best Effort clause which didn't guarantee a time line for the supply of vaccines. The UK had a guaranteed supply contract because it funded the UK's Oxford University that created the vaccine. The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine patent is owned by the British/Swedish company and Oxford Uni. In exchange for the UK funding that vaccine research, it got a guaranteed supply contract. Why would you think the EU funded part of that research???? Yes im sure the EU had to pay towards production costs inside the EU as part of their vaccine contract by that was after the vaccine has passed its initial testing. Answer me this. If the UK's vaccine contract wasn't better than the EU's. Why didn't the EU stop the UK's vaccine supply leaving EU based factories? Why have 80 million vaccines been exported by EU based vaccine companies? It's because those companies we keeping to their contractual agreements with those countries outside the EU. The simple fact is those countries had contacts. The EU Commission was so busy dreaming up the next wave of attacks on the UK as punishment. The EU forgot to deal with the global pandemic. Now Novavax has signed complete supply and final finish contract for their complete vaccine production to be done in the UK because the EU Commission treated AstraZeneca so badly. While they have not completed a vaccine contact with the EU. The EU Commission was so slow to act that the French vaccine company Valneva moved their vaccine research and development and they started building their vaccine factory in the UK in September (funded by the UK government) The Valneva vaccine is produced differently with inactive virus which can be quickly adapted to new variants/strains of covid. The Valneva vaccine could easily be the most important vaccine for the next few decades. Why didn't France or any other country or the EU invest in all these vaccine companies, when the UK did? Just a final note. The UK sent a letter of intent to purchase AZ vaccines in June. The EU did nothing until the AZ vaccine had passed the initial testing stages months later.
