They were the only charity I used to give to, not any more.

@Andy can you please do a follow up showing how bad the London Underground pollution is. Ps keep up the great work.

The first scrappage scheme kept any cars of high value. I saw a video of an airstrip (old airport runway) covered in higher value vehicles parked for years after they were purchased under the original London scrappage scheme.

My friends in Wales are finding this 20mph speed limit is a nightmare. But they will carry on blindly voting Labour. No one knows where the 20mph speed limit applies. It's the bonkers Labour Communists clown party.

You loose control over your contract the moment you get a so called "Smart" Meter. They can turn your meter into a pre-payment meter. That way if you get sick or loose your job etc, they don't have to cut your power off. In effect by not being able to pay your cutting yourself off.
11
There are a lot of older vehicles that have a Nox level low enough to be changed with the DVLA as Ulez exempt. You have to get in touch with the vehicle manufacturer to get the original Nox figures. You can submit the Nox data to TFL (without any changes to the DVLA data base) Once you get the all clear with TFL you can submit that paperwork to any other area in the country that has a clean air zone (or similar policy under a different name)

Travelling on the London Underground is 10x worse than any air pollution anywhere else on London. Unless your next to a construction site or new road works putting in bike lanes. (At the same time removing car lanes which causes congestion and increases air pollution) So the Ulez ideal is a complete backfire.

We only get post once a week if were lucky. Most of my post for the last 3 months has been at least 3-4 weeks late. Some letters are over a month late from the date shown on the letter. What do you expect with Tim Daily (former BBC boss) running the Royal Mail. He's cutting the number of Royal Mail staff by more than 50% across the Midlands.

Specially adapted vehicles are extremely expensive. Most disabled people couldn't afford to replace/upgrade their disability vehicles.
8
Nothing smart about so called "Smart" meters. They are a scam.
6
I will never reach state pension age. They will keep raising the bar/age.
6
It's still Aldi that gives permission to these parking firms.
4
Your looking healthy mate. Are you on a diet? I could do with losing a couple of stone if you have any tips.
3
Since I contacts EDF to demand they stop harrasing me, including EDF stating in an email they would stop. I've had over 150 emails and text messages in the last 6 months trying to get me to have a so called smart meter.
3
This is the Big push towards the cashless UK.
3
On my phone it's fine because it has a loud speaker. On my laptop your videos are sometimes quiet.

No one will visit Bath to shop. The town's shops and businesses will close and the council will lose a lot more revenue tham they think they will gain from these parking charges. It's already happening in places like Brighton. All the event that bring tourists are being cancelled by the event organisers because of vehicles restrictions and increased charged by Brighton council.l
2
You really need to see what financial support you can get from universal credit. You are paying into the system so you shouldn't feel guilty about taking money out of it.
2
This letter/email isn't correct. If the network suppler wants to replace the meter under safety regulations, the domestic customer can demand a like for like replacement (Dumb) meter. I had an original analogue gas meter replace with an identical analogue gas meter this year. This guy was conned by his energy company, who fed him half truths and he was daft enough to fall for their BS.
2
Next time I go into Walsgrave McDonald's I will ask to speak with the manager about this time limit. I've never noticed any signage and I've been there many times over the past few months.
2
Exactly. Time to holiday else where. Spain doesn't deserve our money.
2
Can you get any vehicle tested to see if it will pass the Nox levels? Could I then submit that information to the DVLA to get it classified as Ulez/Clean air zone compliant? If it passes of course.
2
@chevchelios8582 We have to fight the system in every way. You call it jumping through hoops. I call it fighting/beating the system. The more people beat the system, the more it proves their rules are a complete joke. For most people having a massive pile of Ulez/Clean air zone fines isn't an option. Fair play to those who live outside the system. I have done that myself in the past and do what I can now to remove consent and not enter into contract with companies/corporations where possible. But I have a phone contract so I can use the internet and everything we do on our phones is tracked and every step we take is recorded with our phones in our pockets. Doing nothing isn't an option. Fight the system every way you can. Even if it is soul sucking.
2
Utter cobblers. Food cost more because fuel pushes food transport costs up.
2
They were rolled out as safety camera vans. They were printed with police logos on but never controlled by a police officer. Which is why they won't identify themselves when confronted. How can those speed camera vans say the word Police on them but the operator isn't employed by the police?
2
@joline2730 The brown car guy did do the test inside a few tube stations and the pollution levels were really scary down there. Well worth a watch.
2
The landlord has to consent to having them fitted. A tenant can't consent to them being fitted. At the same time the bill is in the tenants name so the tenant has to agree to have one as well. The landlord can't just decide to have one while there is a sitting tenant. Properties with smart meters will drop 10 percent in value. The energy companies can install refurbished analogue meters.
2
Council miss management again.
1
Electric cars are much heavier and use more tyres and brake pads.
1
Nope none of us got the alert in our house. Neither did my dad, plus many of my friends didn't get the alert.
1
It's to keep the UK's vehicle checks mirrored with the EU's rules/laws.

Royal mail was only delivering post once every 3-4 weeks. This went on for months. Had to contact my local Conservative MP. He had a face to face meeting and suddenly within a couple of days we got a daily post lady who is brilliant. My complaints to royal mail were ignored for over a year. The moment my MP got involved the problem was fixed. Royal fail even managed to deliver missing parcels that were 6 months late after that. So contact your local MP. My local MP has always been very good.

@Amos1965 Do you understand they print new notes every day? They would have had those new designs in the pipeline for some time and they want everything to seem normal. If you don't know we're heading toward a cashless payment system there is no helping you.
1
I understand why people can't be bothered to vote but we still need to keep the Labour out of power, otherwise we will become the next Communist controlled country. Look at the mess Blair and Brown created last time. They destroyed/crippled our economy and we still haven't recovered because of the laws global elite groups they signed the UK up to.
1
It's another scam. The UK already over pays for energy.
1
@CheeseUnit82 Yes I understand they deal with HGVs as money printing machines. They will start charging for the oxygen going onto the engines next. Maybe I shouldn't give lefties/greenies any ideas. I've got a Euro 5 van I have to jump through hoops to get it to pass Ulez and other "clean" air zones.
1
That's because Blackpool is full of Heroin Addicts. Blackpool has been junkie central for the past 15+ years.
1
JSO made more of the public wake up to all the Eco Lies.
1
@geordiewishart1546 That is semantics. The so called police camera vans aren't operated by police. The camera operators are not acting officers. I'm sure the tea lady and the cleaner at the police station are employed by the police force but they aren't going out and sticking parking tickets on vehicles. So my question still stands. Why are these people operating police vehicle? when they are clearly not police. !!!!! It's another scam (grey area)
1
@geordiewishart1546 I think your words like many statements made online by police officers are very misleading and wouldn't stand up. If a police vehicle on active service is being operated by a civilian (even if they are employed by the police) That is misleading the public. I.e Not truthful/factual/honest/misleading/deceitful = A BIG FAT LIE. Maybe that's why these camera vehicle are having the POLICE signage removed, to make them legal/lawful?
1
@taIlboyandy23 You know your talking nonsense. The moment the speed camera vans get obstructed they call the police in. If they were active members of the police force (police officers) they would have to identify themselves but they never do. They are civilians operating a van sign written with the word Police on the side. I understand the police are allowed to lie to gain evidence but they can't tell lies online. So be very careful.
1
@taIlboyandy23 What your really saying is the cleaner at the police station can man a speed camera van. Because the cleaner is employed by the police force.
1
@taIlboyandy23 Nope. That just another poor attempt at misleading the public (by you). None of the camera vans are operated by police officers. They are operated by civilians employed by the police. They have less authority then a parking attendant handing out parking ticket. At least parking attendants are trained and insured to interact with the public. OAP's with zero training can operate a laser speed gun. So who are you trying to fool??? I hope that clears things up for you. I'm sure you have a tattoo that says "Must try harder)
1
They aren't applying the discounts at the tills either.
1
This is another step closer to a cashless society. Giving away our control to the elite. If i cant go to a till with a human operating it i refuse to shop in that store. The same goes for these so called store discount cards that collect our data. How long before they sell peoples unhealthy eating habbits to medical insurance companies? If they dont already!!! Buying unhealthy junk food and your ALL insurance prices go up, including car insurance, life insurance, medical insuance because your more likely to have health problems and make more insurance claims. Customers Meta data is worth a lot of money and companies will happily sell your data.
1
Asda ripped us all off for over a year. This step means nothing.
1
We have been paying for green garden waste (yearly fee) for a couple of years in the Midlands (Near Coventry)
1
Ban them from public transport. Put them on home arrest (on tag). Ban ALL of them from meeting in groups. They are nothing more than terrorists. Putting people's lives at risk.
1
Our local council lost millions in Iceland investments that went bust.
1
The McDonald's in Walsgrave Coventry has an unusually large carpark. It is never filled to maximum capacity, even at peak times on a Saturday. It's not close to other shops either. So there is zero reason to have that parking company in place. Does McDonald's get paid a percentage of that parking fine/penalty charge?
