  1. This letter/email isn't correct. If the network suppler wants to replace the meter under safety regulations, the domestic customer can demand a like for like replacement (Dumb) meter. I had an original analogue gas meter replace with an identical analogue gas meter this year. This guy was conned by his energy company, who fed him half truths and he was daft enough to fall for their BS.
