  3. It was laughable apart from the fact the EU Commissions failure to act in a timely manner will cost thousands of lives. The EU Commissions slow to react caused delays in research and development and production/manufacturing.

  4. Pointless talking about it. There is zero financial gain to Scottish independence. Scotland had their once in a generation referendum in 2014. Scotland voted to remain in the UK. We all know the SNP has run Scotlands public services into the ground since they got in power. Scotland gets more money per capita/per person than Wales or Northern Ireland or England and the SNP still can't balance the books.

  5. Omg have you seen the CGTN videos on YouTube. Iv seen some vile comments online over the years but those people making comments are seriously bonkers. The biggest trouble is there is a large Chinese population in the UK and they all believe the hype. They grew up under the control of the CCP cult. I love my Chinese friends but you can't say anything bad against their governments propaganda.

  6. The UK/Japan negociations started in June. That's 4 months for a genuine and fair trade deal for both sides. The UK has the door wide open to world trade. The EU takes decades to sort out partial trade deals. Proof the EU project has failed. The EU say it has over 100 trade deals. The reality is only about 30 of those deals are still active and less than 10 of the EU's trade deals are worth considering. The EU thinks that 4 years of constant threats and dirty tricks will get the EU a trade deal with the UK. The same way the EU always negocites trade deals, which is why the EU economy is shrinking year on year.

  7. Since the 2016 vote the UK has still had to pay into the EU's budget/slush fund. If negociations carried on into next year the UK would have been tied into the EU's next 7 year financial cycle. So we would end up paying into the EU for a further 7 years, while not having a say in EU rules and regulations and tariffs, which only ever benefitted the EU and never worked in favour of the UK's economy.

  9. This is going to get a lot worse across the EU as people realise there is no escape from lockdown for a second summer, due to the EU Commissions failure to order vaccines in a timely manner. Sadly it's not hard to imagine rolling riots across the whole of the EU this summer. We are already seeing smaller protests but i see this unrest exploding once the weather warms up in May. This will force strict lockdowns and curfews until this reaches breaking point. To the point normal people that are not political take to the streets and defy the lockdowns and curfews and clash with the police and the political elite. I think Covid will force unimaginable political change from 2021 onwards across the whole of the EU. Making the Brexit storm look tiny.

  10.  @tootime2  I totally agree. The EU i like to call the House of Jesters has become a laughing stock across the globe. They have proved the paper pushers in Brussels have run the EU27 into the ground and there is Zero chance of recovery. Yet they jump on their high horse and expect to be take seriously when they preach to other countries, how they should be running their own countries. They sit around in Brussels listening to their own self importance and actually believe their own hype. The EU didn't have any friends around the world before they "restricted/banned" vaccine exports and now they have made plenty of enemies. It's like they all walked into Brussels one morning and took turns to press the self destruct button.

  12. The EU makes impossible demands of Hungary and Poland, knowing the can't/won't comply and then cuts off their money. Anyone would think the German controlled EU Commission was trying to force them out of the EU and into the control of Russia.

  13. A close friend of mine explained that CGTN is there to control the Chinese population that live outside of China. It's not aimed at the majority of British/America/European people because were fully aware that it's propaganda.
