They all wanted to have their say and now it's going tits up for the EU they are all stepping away in the hopes the blame falls on someone else.   4.  @jameskane8744  Ha Ha.. Your so deluded. The UK makes up 20% of the EU's total exports. The UK has NEW trade deals with 57 countries in less than 2 years and many more trade deals to follow. The EU needs the UK's banks and clearing houses to raise its 1.8 Trillion recovery fund. Not bad for a little country. The UK spends 43 Billion on German built cars every year. When you consider the EU was formed to be a trading block and the combined EU 27 countries NET Exports are only 33 Billion. The EU project is a 45 year old failure.

  6. @Vladimir Putin Facts always beat EU Fiction. I can quote facts from the EU's own data bases that proves 100% the 45 year old EU Project is a failure. More than 1 Million people move/migrate to the EU every year, at the same time the EU's GDP shrinks year on year. That should guarantee more spending/more GDP but the reality is the EU is a failure.

  10.  @MrNukedawhales  It was the UK fishermen that had been put out of business that sold their EU fishing rights/EU fishing quota's to the EU fishing fleet. Not the UK government. Those EU fishing quota's will now be null and void from next year. That is why the UK paid 39-40 Billion divorce bill (which covered other things as well) . So those EU fishermen have to claim compensation from the EU, for the loss of EU issued fishing quota's. The EU has offered 5 Billion to businesses that are effected by Brexit. Plus why would the EU be demanding continued access to the UK's fisheries if they had bought/paid/traded/owned them?

Those EU issued fishing quota's will be void inside the UK's waters. Even the EU parliament has stated that EU fishermen effected by Brexit will have to apply for EU compensation. If you want to argue about it, you need to talk to the EU about it. If those quota's were going to remain active, WHY has the EU spent the past 4 years demanding access for the EU's fishing fleet?? Those quota's inside the UK's waters are VOID. End Of. (without a UK/EU FTA)

  12.  @MrNukedawhales  Let me explain to you that the EU's milk quota's that were issued to UK famers. That were then sold to big industrial farmers inside the EU are also void. Because UK farmers can produce more milk without the EU's limitation. The difference is the EU never owned/bought/paid/traded for the complete ownership of the UK's fishing waters. Those fishing rights end on January 1st when the UK becomes independent again. Those EU fishing boats that bought EU fishing quota's from UK fishermen will be void. If you buy a car and it breaks down or rusts to bits once it's out of warantee. You cant go back 20 years later and ask for a refund from a different car company. LOL They have made their money back many times over.

LOL So if the EU fishing fleet have a problem they need to speak with the EU, who issued the fishing quota's. Haven't you seen the news today??? From 1st January the UK's Navy are going to patrol the UK's fishing waters and arrest EU fishermen if they enter the UK's waters. Do you still think those EU quota's mean anything???

  15.  @MrNukedawhales  The EU have already accepted financial responsibility for the loss of fishing rights in UK waters. The EU has already stated that EU fishermen that face losses should put in a claim for part of the 5 Billion Brexit fund. The EU fishing boats cant take the UK to court in the ECJ because the UK wont be under the control of the ECJ next year. This is why the UK agreed to pay the 39 Billion divorce bill. To cover anything the UK owed to the EU in one final payment.

  16. Why do these people state the UK sold our fisheries to the EU? They may have been part of a UK-EU trade deal but that comes to an end on the 1st January. If the EU had bought and paid for the rights to fish British waters, Why would the EU be asking for fishing access now??? These people are Blooming Stupid. Then they say the UK's fish are not worth defending or not worth anything to the UK. So WHY has the EU been demanding access to the UK's fisheries if they are not worth anything???? LOL

  17.  @MK-vh9wz  Wrong. !!! The Irish fishermen and the EU fishermen sells and rents/leases out quota's to none EU countries. There is a Russian owned and registered mega trawler fishing UK water almost every week of the year. It's all recorded if you take the time to look.

Yes some boats that are registered in the UK but run and owned by None UK citizens will be allowed to carry on fishing in UK waters as long as they pay taxes to the UK and they employ staff under UK laws (UK minimum wag). So yes it's very complicated. You need to understand these people are either funded by the EU or they are simply on youtube to spread their twisted Anti British narrative (There are Scottish & Irish and anti government/Communists) That will say and do anything to attack the UK by using half facts/half truths to portray their Anti British Propaganda as if it's genuine. They cherry pick little bits of information and make the rest up.

  19.  @sirtoby4939  I will explain this in very simple terms. Firstly the UK fishermen will change the size of the holes in their nets to catch the larger fish the UK eats. Secondly those smaller fish will feed the larger fish. So your Pro EU Narrative is null and void.

Those fish are caught in UK waters by the EU fishing fleet and then processed in the EU and sold back to the UK once the EU have added value/profit.

  22.  @kimwarburton8490  Nothing was sold by Thatcher. It was an exchange as part of the UK being part of the EU. The Fishing Quota's the EU fishing fleet bought from the UK fishermen who were put out of business by the EU, were issued by the EU. Those fishing quota's in UK waters are now Null and Void. Otherwise the EU wouldn't be demanding access to the UK's waters. If your going to attempt to twist facts to meet your Pro EU narrative/propaganda, at least try to make your comment believable. UK farmers want cheap labour and charge a small fortune for accommodation that i wouldn't put my dog in.

You might actually learn something. If the EU had paid anything for UK fishing rights they wouldn't be trying to negotiate for access to the UK's Fisheries now.
