Why dont people understand the most basic things about UK Imports & taxes/tariffs??? Less import tax/tariffs on None EU imports (50% of UK imports) and more Import tax/tariffs on EU goods (50% of UK imports) , that equals each other out. Plus the import tariffs/taxes on EU goods will go to the UK next year will pay for UK public services. Instead of sending all those Import Taxes/Tariffs directly to Brussels slush fund. It's a Win Win Win for the UK.

The UK buys roughly 50% of it's imports from the EU and 50% from None EU countries. None EU imports are hit with import tariffs/taxes of 10%-80% depend on the type of goods imported. Those tariffs/taxes are sent directly to Brussels Slush Fund. Next year that will basically reversed. Tariffs/taxes will be charged on EU goods imported into the UK and those taxes will fund the UK's public services. What is wrong with that?

@angussoutter7824 Oh dear you simply dont understand. Less import tax on None EU imports and more on EU goods equals each other out. Plus the import tariffs/taxes on EU goods go to the UK instead of sending taxes/tariffs to Brussels slush fund. It's a Win Win for the UK but Phil wont tell you that. LOL. The genuine facts dont suit Phil's twisted Pro EU propaganda.

@gabbertje-rh7rw Sorry but your wrong.. The tariffs/taxes the EU make the UK collect at present can range from 10%-80% which gets sent to Brussels. WTO tariffs are a basic 10%. on most goods. Next year those import tariffs on EU goods wont go to Brussels. They will go to pay for the UK's public service like our Free Health Services. The UK won't have to charge tariffs/taxes on None EU imports. Plus the UK has New trade deals with 59 countries which make most of those imports tariff/tax free.

@gabbertje-rh7rw While i agree many of those trade deals a basically a copy and paste of the deals we had while the UK was part of the EU. Any tariffs/taxes collected will go to the UK not Brussels. Plus their are a lot of changes which make those imports tariff free or lower tariffs. None EU imports will only be taxed at a basic 10% on WTO instead the massive taxes/tariffs we had to collect and send to Brussels. Plus there are a lot of future trade deals that are due to be completed next year. Without paying a single penny/cent to Brussels cashflow/budget. The question is why is your country paying into Brussels? On imported frozen meats the tariffs are 40-80%. That is 40-80% you are personally paying more in the shops. The same applies to the vast majority of imported goods and services you buy in the EU. That wont apply to the UK next year. P.s i see talk of a UK/EU trade deal is close to completion. No details have been released yet.
