I read today that 99.8% of EU goods do NOT pass through NI ..... So the EU have LIED all along. There was never a threat to the EU's Single Market. GREAT NEWS we are just about to do a 20 Billion trade deal with Norway by the end of the month. Let the GB Good Times roll. GB GB GB.

@olafbloodaxe5931 So let the EU install a trade border on the Irish border. If the EU Commission thinks the 0.2% is a risk to the failed EU single market. The EU was happy to trigger Article 16 which put a trade border on the border between NI & ROI. At least you admit the UK left the EU, unlike Macron who doesn't understand Northern Ireland is part of the UK. On that note why should the EU be allowed to hold Northern Ireland to ransom when NI left the EU. This was all an EU PROBLEM. If the EU want to continue doing trade with the USA they will have to be more flexible with the protocol. The EU is already beginning to bend on border checks and they will do a lot more now Biden has spoken to the EU Commission. Unless the EU back off, Northern Ireland will use their veto in 4 years time to remove the protocol.

@Salty_old_Viking THE UK IS THE UK including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Isles. Happy to educate you further. I could explain to you that the UK is part of Europe, which Brussels/EU Commission like to mislead people about. The EU is not Europe. The EU is a failed trading block inside Europe, that many countries want to leave. Honestly you sad little bunch of Remoaner losers are so bitter and twisted. LOL

@Salty_old_Viking Macron tried to imply in his own twisted way that Northern Ireland wasn't part of the UK. Now he's either thick and stupid or he's sad and deluded and desperately clinging on to the ideal of an EU superstate that is totally controlled by France and Germany like you are. Either way the Micro Napoleon is wrong and so are you. The EU's power grab using their so called recovery fund has failed to roll out time and time again. The German high court has thrown it out at least 3 times. Other countries are refusing to sign up to the EU commissions recovery fund Terms & Conditions. P.s You didn't answer any of my questions. What has the EU achieved since 2016? Apart from constant failures??? Happy to educate you further.

Just because your a sad little remoaner that lost in 2016 and your still crying about it now. You lost again when the UK public filled the EU parliament with the Brexit Party. You lost again when the British gave the Conservatives an 80 seat majority. Local elections gave the Conservatives a further lead. The Conservatives got my vote because they were the only political party that intended to follow the largest democratic vote in British history. Before 2016 i had never voted for the Conservatives. Thankfully we binned the EU just in time to roll out the UK's world leading vaccine program. What has the EU achieved in the years since 2016? Unless you include their constant failures. LOL

@olafbloodaxe5931 So your trying to say the UK funded & designed Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is German? WOW your deluded. Not only did the UK create the most widely manufactured AZ vaccines in the world. Novavax and the French vaccine company Valneva are producing their vaccines in the UK and refusing to sign supply contracts with the EU. The only vaccine Germany is manufacturing is Pfizer and possible J&J which are both American vaccines. Of course Germany will profit from the manufacturing of those vaccine inside the EU (funded by the EU27) Even with the EU restricting the supply of vaccines to the UK that the UK funded the increased manufacturing capacity in the Halix factory in the Netherlands (after the EU and Netherland refused to help) the UK has still fully vaccinated more than 60% of the population.
