  6.  @fitzstv8506  Utter Rubbish. The UK has 53 New trade deals agreed. Yes many of those are Mirrored/Copies of previous EU deals. The reality is the EU has less than 40 active trade deals and 80% of those are of a very limited nature. You seem to be under the illusion the EU has 200+ trade agreements but that is sheer fiction. Only about 6 of the EU's trade deals bring any real financial gain to the EU. Take Canada for example. The UK is Canada's largest trading partner in Europe. Which is why Canada signed the trade deal with the UK, so trade will continue without disruption (until the larger UK/CA trade deal is completed). That information is easy to find from the EU's data base and Canada's. When the figures are updates they will clearly show that the EU27 are not holding up their end of the already strained Canada-EU trade agreement. Canada has openly complained that the EU is not buying the volume it promised to buy from Canada. Without the UK's spending in Canada being included in the EU's figures there is a monumental shortfall. Which will put the CA/EU trade agreement on shaky ground. When you consider the whole of the EU 27 combined only has a Net annual export of 33-36 Billion. Then you take into account the UK used to spend 270 Billion a year in the EU per year. That will put the EU into negative export figures next year. The UK spent 43 Billion euros a year on German built cars in 2018. That wont be repeated next year if there is no UK/EU FTA because German cars will cost 25% more. The same applies to most of the EU's goods and services. UK businesses will look for alternative None EU suppliers because tariffs/taxes alone will make International goods 22-25% cheaper.
