It’s not a target of annexation by Russia.

Fred Hampton existed in a different time where society was in a far more segregated position than now and was trying to unite people from racial differences. But the contradiction is totally different here. "Unite Black and White" is far less contradictory than "Unite Right and Left." Contrary to what racialists think, black and white can easily live in harmony. Right and Left are diametrically opposed and cannot co-exist. Say they do get mass appeal and change the system. They'll start having arguments about how economics work, and even if both sides are in total agreement about social issues, in a best case scenario you have a broken dysfunctional government just as bad as the old. Worst case, never-ending partisan violence. Which sorry, the right wingers will probably win since they have the most support from the old powers.

  27. Yeah. It’s a tax. What a tariff will do is jump the price of a Chinese good and that will be passed to the consumer. While a US company wouldn’t have to pay and the American goods will be cheaper for a very short while. But since demand doesn’t change, US companies will increase the price as well for more profit. One way or another, it is always paid by the consumer.

Those countries could make the USA and EU pay more than what they have been which is nothing. The transnational corporations would have no way to circumvent it without illegal smuggling. The latin countries that participate fully could dictate the value of that commodity as long as they pay in their currency and not USD or EUR. As an example, Russia started forcing oil exports to be paid in rubles and their gold standard gave them total control of the value of their currency and therefore, the gas/oil they sell to the EU and China. This allowed them to cut their ally China a good deal, and pumping a large amount of cash out of European enemies.

What Benito Mussolini was pushing was more of a top-down vertical syndicalism where workers and capitalists were working in units where they made determinations and decisions among themselves about their field in "corporatist" organizations which then worked with the state on equal footing, like soldiers working together on a task. While the european f*sci$t cancer thought this could resolve class conflict, It was pro-capitalist, anti-worker society with no redeemable qualities. State capitalism is just the state taking a more directive role in what companies should be doing by basically bribery. Making objectives and then giving subsides to companies that want to play ball to accomplish these objectives and to build infrastructure. Definitely not the same thing

  189. America fails even the basic acid test for a republic or a democracy. A republic is supposed to enable democracy through representation by an elected official. In the USA, the officials who can run are selected by oligarchs in corporate America. Look at how much power someone like Elon Musk has in the politics of California, Nevada, and Texas. Nevada gives him 4 billion dollars, no strings attached. China have him the same deal, but he has to make good on promises or his property he bought with it will get seized.
