to follow on Rolland's piece, it feels like some spinless EU members want to keep Ukraine in the fight but only just, never to have an advantage over Russia, they are given what they need after the critical points. And the reason why is to not anger Russia. Well if the Ukraine had their NATO main battle tanks, F16s, Patriots and HIMARS 12 months ago then there would be no live Russian presence in Ukraine, no need for cluster bombs, the dam would be intact and the ecocide averted, the nuclear power station wouldn't be at risk of explosion, the torture and massacres of innocent people would have been averted and the world would be a better place. I'm no Trump fan but maybe he actually had a point on the NATO country contributions.
