  1. I've fiddled with both briefly and I'd lean towards the LG G6. For instance the curved glass on the screen of the S8 is an irritant and not a bonus for me. However as I was holding them and appreciating the grip of the G6, it dawned on me that this "extra long" formfactor won't do me any good in real practice. Lastly I'd happily trade the under water tolerance for a removable battery. Having glass specifically on the back of a phone is just nosense anyway.
