  1. Christians have blocked every prior attempt to repeal the law, so trying the law in court on someone who burnt the koran is perhaps a last ditch effort to bring up the matter again. We'll see precisely how much the christian extremists among the danish law makers really want to keep the ability to throw people in jail for blasphemy.
