  3. Same, well not the navy part lol, but perhaps this is just a minor side effect rather than the design intent. Wouldn't surprise me if this plug design came from iterations of a really, really old one though.

  4. Gives me the urge to visit the local hospital and test ride their elevators for a bit. ;-) Even as a full well seeing and hearing person I quite like having a voice telling me the direction and floor number. As long as the audio quality is decent it's just a nice little thing.
