  1. If you watch Tom Scotts surveys of USS Texas it is in terrible shape. Even the 14 inch guns are rust buckets. I don't know if there is enough money to get that ship back into servicable shape. It was probably in bad shape in 1945.

  2. Whats the worry. Its a US torpedo. Not like there was any chance of it going off or anything. Just standard fire drill.

  3. Small boats use stainless steel and aluminum propellers. Any ships do that?
