  1. A good experienced dealer will know he has to sell cars at a loss at times. A poor dealer will go out of business and his sales staff will all quit before that happens. Find another dealer.

  2. Around here cars under $5000 typically have 300,000 miles which makes them junk to me. A favorite ad on a Toyota is that it has had 300,000 trouble free miles. And I am thinking so as I drive it away the engine and trans will fall out.

  4. The used car dealer I know here puts a hell of a lot of reconditioning into the cars he buys at auction. I know the law says known defects have to be disclosed and you can't sell an unsafe car. I watched him do a 4 wheel brake job on a BMW and could'nt see how he would make money. New rotors and calipers. He can even repair torn leather.
