  8.  @dant5447  When I was in St. Augustine I would get under AC by noon and not go out again til 6 or 7 PM. I spent a July in Lauderdale with no AC but it was overcast and I was lucky. Drank gallons of cold liquids every day. You could set your watch by twice a day rain at 8 am and 4 pm.

  37. Actually its about stock market return. Insurance companies cash flow but make no profit. The cash goes into the stock market for their owners returns. If market is zooming the insurance company will take anything. If market is crashing like now they will take nothing. Also they expect claims will rise in bad economies.

You build your mansion on the serf, get Federal Flood insurance the mansion is destroyed, get a new mansion every few years. Why should poor people in the mid west build free mansions for rich people on the coasts? Its BS. In Florida likes it so much let them foot the bill.

  47. By and large Insurance companies are owned by banks as well as Warren Buffet. No they don't get rich by paying claims. Warren does real good though.
