  1. The important thing to remember about racism is how universal it is. The "white races" did not invent nor introduce it to Asia and Japan. Early European contacts in China faced great barriers of racism for centuries. Who's racism won only changed with a change in military power. Japan at a base level is still xenophobic, which is different from racism how? Racism is real and destructive of all that you should value in life, but if as an Englishman you are being made to feel uniquely guilty over racism in the British Empire then you are the victim of racism.
