Was it built with George Washington's Axe? (Had to replace the handle seven times and the head twice, but it's George Wahington's Axe..)

As you have moved beyond WWI &WWII battles may I point out the US Civil (not very) War had a great deal of activity on the major rivers with Iron Clad gun boats and River Monitors along with mass troop movements. Then there were the naval assaults and taking of Southern Ports. One example that brings it all together was the Campaign at Vicksburg. The US Navy had sailed up the Mississippi after taking New Orleans and River Iron Clads had moved south only to be blocked by the fortress at Vicksburg. It was a wild campaign that included breaking the levees to flood the confederate defenses deep enough to just sail over them and land several Union Army’s. The largest American amphibious land till D-day was one of them. The more you look the more unbelievable it becomes.

BB-38 would not even break a sweat against HMS Victory, unless it could only use it's anti aircraft weapons.... (MIGHT want to be clear on which USS Pennsylvania you are referring to as I can't be the only snarky one here.)
