  1. I saw Hot Shots long before top Gun. (Hell, I saw Hot Shots Part Duex before Top Gun) I think that shaped my attitude as top Gun seemed rather silly, except for the live at sea carrier shots of course. (Look up "awesome" and there's a video clip)
