  3. Small potatoes but the P-80, later F-80, was flying at the same time as the Meteor and ME-262. It also wasn't quite ready for use but a small number were flying in Italy late in the war in an attempt to intercept Arado Ar 234 bombers being used for intelligence flights. Being British, no one told you. (heh!)
