This is simply the best compilation of news on China I have found. You have done very good work here and should be proud.

About time you did! It was very clear how stressed you were getting. I suspect I am not the only one here who greatly respects the work you have done and consider it as a gift given. Your videos, and recommended books, have changed my understanding of key events in WWII. If you start feeling antsy, or aren't quite ready after 2-3 weeks, just do some more book reviews. "TIK Recommends" flows well.

Go ahead and try. The US SNARK reserves are Huge and and could cover it easily. :-)

Can anyone find the clip of Baldick of Black Adder going "BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"? Seems appropriate for the Vesuvius and all

Which is quite snarky itself! We're having fun here. (and why did you add the extra "S"?) I consider thing like this like brothers or cousins teasing each other, as I suspect most 'Mercan posters do.

Have you mentioned you had a long talk on Rex's Hanger about the development of aircraft carriers? Why HAVEN'T you mentioned your long talk at Rex's Hanger about aircraft carriers?

It seems many commentors were impressed with Tony's bilingual skills. Every moment was charming.

"all the way to mastless turret vessel" Now I want an image of a turret with a mast on it.

How many fans of "Yes Minister" and "Yes Prime Minister" are there here? The wit was bitter in both and all humor needs be based in truth.

As you have moved beyond WWI &WWII battles may I point out the US Civil (not very) War had a great deal of activity on the major rivers with Iron Clad gun boats and River Monitors along with mass troop movements. Then there were the naval assaults and taking of Southern Ports. One example that brings it all together was the Campaign at Vicksburg. The US Navy had sailed up the Mississippi after taking New Orleans and River Iron Clads had moved south only to be blocked by the fortress at Vicksburg. It was a wild campaign that included breaking the levees to flood the confederate defenses deep enough to just sail over them and land several Union Army’s. The largest American amphibious land till D-day was one of them. The more you look the more unbelievable it becomes.

Is it OK if I hate you for having many interests and being competent to skilled at them? Doing that is much easier than working on my own interests and skills, of course. (heh!)

What drinks should we have ready for the coming "Year in Review" as it will be needed this year?

WHAT! Three days and still no new video? Who are you, and what have you done with the REAL Drachinifel? (He would have had seven up at his current rate)
