My brother was growing a ginger plant in a old sweet jarto make ginger beer and every now and then he'd drain the water out and add new and some sugar and even bacon this thing looked like the blob and would creep up the side of the jar he kept it in the pantry on the floor where it was cool everytime I went in there to get a apple he'd shout watch the blob don't get ya I was 5 at the time and it scared the crap outa me ...
