  1. Dude, it's just jump school. Females earning jump wings is pretty much moot. They're not really paratroopers. They're just jump qualified. Where infantry is concerned, it's just the means to get to the battlefield. It's what you do when you GET there that matters.

  2.  @JoelMcGuire-dv8wy  You're arguing a title vs. a lifestyle, brother. I honestly don't know why they even call Ranger school Ranger school. For argument's sake, let's say you finish Ranger school, then go back to your (non-75th) unit. Then, shortly thereafter, the proverbial excrement hits the fan, and the subsequent order is to "send in the Rangers", I can pretty much guarantee you the tabbed guys ain't goin'. Full stop. Only the scrolled ones are going. So sure, if you're only tabbed, you can "say" that you're a Ranger until dolphins fly, and parrots live at sea. But the truth is, you're a Ranger school graduate, and NOT a real Ranger. Now, before you jump on me, I'm well aware that Ranger school is decidedly no cakewalk. But it ain't the 75th.

  3.  @JoelMcGuire-dv8wy  It's not a question of whether, or not I like it. And not being able to lead a patrol is individual. Some guys can completely suck at it, but can conduct a raid like nobody's business. It (Ranger school) is a leadership course, but not everyone can lead. Some are better at it than others. It is the nature of humans, since we're not automatons. You can laugh at it, but laughing won't change a thing. Hey, I know....How about "Ranger", and "Ranger Operator"? 😛

They love to embellish stories, and even lie, suffering from delusions of superiority. Army rangers being glorified marine grunts is about the funniest thing I've seen in quite some time. 🤣
