  1. Did he commit a crime while using racial slurs? Because a hate crime isn’t words it has to have actions to go along with the racial slurs otherwise it’s just free speech regardless of how shitty it was. We are allowed to say things even if nobody likes what we have to say. He has to threaten harm or commit assault while using a racial slur to be a hate crime.
