  1. China is too authoritarian for a world reserve currency. China is worse than the US. But I do think the US will go through a pension crisis together with a fiscal crisis, the US has a problem that wants to be the world's policeman and has a welfare state, you cannot do both. But the US is the least worst of the world's major economy. I think the US will go through a pension crisis because the government pension system is run like a Ponzi scheme, a pyramid scheme, and if the US doesn't reform it social security, social security will go bust. It will fall like all pyramid schemes do. This is probably the next crisis I would be worried about.
