HBO delivers artisanal content. What sets them apart from the so-called competition is their refusal to underestimate the viewer's intelligence. HBO is not tv; it is its own thing altogether and I would argue that the entertainment industry is (CREATIVELY) all the better for it. Changing the name would not be wise.

Here in America, most parents are struggling. They make having kids look downright painful. Hard pass. #Childfree4life
28
Have children only if you can actually take care of them yourself.
16
"Promised?" Make sure you get it in writing.

Where are the churches? Most of these neighborhoods have churches and many of these churches have vans. Why can't these churches develop transportation programs aimed at getting these folks to and from quality supermarkets? None of these nonprofits have grants that could assist churches with developing such programs? I'm baffled by the hand wringing going on here.

@woodchuck003 Lol. You will likely never understand the irony of your comment. Most parents don't emotionally mature due to becoming parents and why would you wish that responsibility on a child? Smh.

I'm an HR pro and I couldn't agree more. Seriously, most entry level gigs shouldn't require a degree. Depending on the field, a certification may be a far better choice. How many companies offer free and/or low cost online courses and training? I suggest going that route before even thinking about college. Additionally, If you can get a civil service position, you may be able to get certs and degrees paid for by your employer or labor union.

If you're living paycheck to paycheck on six figures then it's a money management issue. This has literally nothing to do with the so-called American dream. This video is just outright deceptive. Many many people are living the American dream on far less than six figures.

@@anastasiassecret3837 🙄🙄🙄 Not having children until you're able to care for them yourself is apparently a very hard concept for most of you to grasp. Having children then expecting others to care for them is ridiculous. Child care is stupid and expensive. Take care of your little gremlins yourself. If you want to spit out crotch critters but have no one to care for them then you should probably not be having them. Why is this such a hard concept to grasp? Too many dumb parents out here. Smh.

There are only a handful of truly greatly written shows out right now. Most of what Hollyweird is churning out is flat out unwatchable for many of us. I mainly watch the old school stuff like "Seinfeld" and "Roseanne." One of the modern shows I like is HBO's "Hacks." "Abbott Elementary" is cute. Other than that, I don't really mess with modern tv.

@nouvelhomme8990 Huge houses with a bunch of land is exactly what many many folks are looking for, though. Most people don't want a stuffy little apartment. My issue, as always, is the cost of these homes. I find them overpriced but folks are obviously buying them.

I can only speak from an American perspective, but here, poverty is political. The powers that be use poor folks to push certain narratives; the poor are just chess pieces (pawns). That said, Jesus says that the poor will always be with us. The great thing about America though is that we have social welfare programs that help those at the bottom. The guy in this clip who claimed we don't is a liar. Poor people with children have a plethora of both public and private assistance programs available to them. In the United States, the key to climbing out of poverty is knowing how to use the programs available for you. When I was unemployed, I was able to use private and public programs to get everything from FREE interview clothes to FREE bus passes. I was able to secure a very well paying job with full medical insurance and retirement. It's about being intentional, responsible and well informed. The smart poor folks climb out of poverty all the time but U.S. news media outlets won't do stories about them.

@covfefe1787 No, it doesn't. If becoming a parent forced people to mature, so many of these kids wouldn't be a mess. Too many parents want to be their kids' friend. That's part of the problem now. Also, getting a job doesn't magically make someone mature or a good parent. I will say this for the trillionth time: raising children is a spiritual endeavor.
3
How is it nobody's talking about the insane asking prices for new builds? Most new builds are typically posh suburbs the average American CANNOT actually afford.
3
Who are the people buying these overpriced houses?
2
Good catch. She's a bigot.
2
Bingo. I've been homeless and one of the many many things I learned quickly is that homelessness in America is a political issue that makes a lot of empty suits a lot of money. They don't want to end it because it's profitable for the corrupt.
2
Jesus said that the poor will always be with us. There will always be poor people. We as a society should do what we can to help. In the United States we have numerous public and private programs to assist the poor. I would know. I used these programs to dramatically improve my life.
2
The sugar is the issue. Those claiming that price is the issue are being intellectually dishonest. Cereal's popularity had fallen long before inflation. Most cereals are pretty cheap and cereal is one of the most couponed food products lowering the price even more. Additionally, there are thousands of off brand cereal brands that can often be up to 70% cheaper than name brand cereals. Cereal companies should drop sugar and HFCS and replace them with stevia. It's long past time to stop subsidizing the sugar industry and put that money toward a natural sweetener.
2
Yeah, we don't need a power grid at all. This video is just advocating for us to continue being energy slaves to the powers that be. This propaganda is just advocating for better, stronger shackles. Hard pass.
2
@LFMcD It's a waste ritual. All grocery stores have the same policy.
2
The solution to this issue is gardening. If opening a grocery store in the area is gentrification and racist, these folks should just grow their own food.
2
@cybersteady Why is this such a hard concept for folks to grasp? Smh.
2
@markstewart4501 Having children when you are emotionally and financially able to is the right thing to do. Past generations understood this and were more committed to having and raising children in stable, safe homes by a mother and father who were married. These days it's all about baby mama culture in which Uncle Sam has replaced dear old dad. What these struggle bus baby mamas fail to realize is that all that assistance comes at a spiritual price. Their kids are usually fed to the prison industry beast or sacrificed in some other manner.
2
Most of the folks in the U.S. donating blood and plasma aren't folks who should be donating.
2
Nope. These folks aren't taking the city bus and it certainly doesn't look they'll be needing apartment buildings. These are high ranking executives who are buying multi-million dollar homes. Y'all try to turn everything into some ghetto nonsense.
2
@patricksimon8656 Politicians don't have much incentive to do anything about poverty. As I and others have stated, in the U.S. politicians use the poor for their own nefarious political gains. As a matter of fact, some municipalities have been moving to stop the wave of organizations who are providing tiny homes as viable options for the homeless. They can't have homelessness eradicated because then that particular issue can't be exploited.

@SoulReaper246 I'm not one to discount racism but it can't be used as an excuse. My own personal philosophy is "persevere despite." I'm a woman of faith. When the enemy puts obstacles in my way, I pray to my Heavenly Father to move them and He does so every single time.

Why in the world are people ordering food off the internet? Humans are so bizarre. Lol.

Having a degree and having actual skills are two completely different things. Too many college grads have no actual skills. Then you have a large number of candidates who have no desire to be trained in specialized skills. I really wish people would stop placing so much importance on a college degree. It doesn't actually mean anything. I work in HR and am far more impressed with specialized certifications than degrees. The cert tells me that this person is skilled at a certain thing. A degree doesn't denote a skillset. The same with a civil service exam. The purpose of the civil service assessment is to give us an example of a candidate's reasoning and problem solving abilities. These are far more important than a degree IMO.

Yup 👍

Every NBA player should give Michael Jeffery Jordan a heartfelt thank you. He made the NBA the global juggernaut it is to this day.
1
So basically this piece is insinuating that George Floyd's death was a ritualistic killing to boost African-American's place in global commerce. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Sounds about right.

Grow your own food.

Mall rents are sky high and owned by wealthy foreigners aiming to tank the American economy. It's economic terr0rism.

Does BK ever have fresh lettuce and tomatoes? The Burger King near me serves what looks like old lettuce and tomatoes on the Whoppers. They also took salads and jalapeno poppers off the menu. All that plus the staff is unfriendly and tattooed. A couple of weeks ago I swung through there for an unsweetened tea and some ice. Don't you know they had the nerve to deny me a large cup of ice. Said something about how they couldn't do just ice in the large plastic cups. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I didn't fuss, just headed over to McDonald's. BK is down bad.

American home ownership is more about gatekeeping than anything. It's about keeping certain "undesirables" from becoming middle class. The entire mortgage system is racist, classist and ablelist and needs a complete overhaul.
1
And unlike these useless TV networks, Google's actually sharing the wealth with its stars. The popular YouTubers are out here buying new houses and growing their brands. Meanwhile in Hollyweird actors and actresses had to go on STRIKE for streaming residuals!! Greed!!
1
This is a fact and no, not all of the available content is piracy. Y'all just be wanting to be contrarians. Dog YT all you want but you're RIGHT HERE ON IT CLOWNIN'! LOL! 🤡 🤡
1
Agreed. The narrative that there's a housing shortage is a lie being told to keep certain demographics from becoming middle class. This whole video is chocked full of lies. That said, here in America housing is entirely too expensive because they really don't want lower class folks becoming middle class. They keep building these expensive, very exclusionary suburbs that are pretty much only filled with high-earning white families who don't want to live near black, brown or disabled people. Why do these videos never address this? In most cities the black, brown and disabled are housed in awful apartments and high rises while the monied whites enjoy their posh, sprawling suburbs and in some instances, their multi acre rural homesteads. It's so maddening.

Disney is pushing Luciferian ideologies on children.
1
@Here4TheHeckOfIt I would argue that money has little to do with why I'll never have kids. Raising children is a spiritual endeavor and is why American kids are so messed up; parents don't want to parent. There's no spiritual guidance or sage wisdom being imparted to these kids. I work full time and overtime and just don't have the time for kids. Kids require most of your time and attention and are just exhausting. That, plus there aren't a whole lot of men out here who are father material. These trash dudes out here these days are just community peen. Hard pass. Having kids ain't worth all the stress and drama. No way.
1
@markstewart4501 "Close?"No. What you are is Luciferian. We'll never be on the same side. Lucifer is not my god. He's not my king and I'll never call him master. He's a liar and I'd rather die than ever serve him. Seethe.
1
Lies and narratives. Jailbreak housing zoning to allow mobile homes. Mobile homes have gotten more expensive but are still cheaper than the traditional house. Allow for mobile homes to be put in more city and rural lots instead of confining them to trailer parks.

These males don't have a provider mindset. They're very feminine and want to be taken care of. 🤢 🤢
1
@FindingThumos We will do something about it: Celebrate!!💃💃💃🎉🎉🎉🎆🎆🥳🥳🥳
1
I'm not an "eat the rich" hippie but I do theorize that the mega rich may be energetically feeding off the hurt and despair of the poor. This would partially explain why the rich have been actively trying to eradicate the middle class.
