NO WORRIES, same here, I live on disability retirement in Austria which also isn't a cheap country by any means.
The most important thing is, that you're doing your best to help and that you're present - commenting after the stream is also highly important - one way or another, here we're all doing what we can to support Ukraine.
A few months ago there weren't enough subscribers and YouTube had to refund the surplus/excess membership gifts back to the viewers, who had initially donated them (meaning there were too many gifts) ... there's no shame in accepting a gift if we can't afford it and are willing to do our part = subscribe, show up, participate, chat, like, share, comment, (etc), it all helps the channel which helps the armed forces, people and animals of Ukraine.

YouTube absolutely loves to play "hide and seek" with us viewers and changes locations for their features all ~3 months I guess, of course they call it "update" ... n case you can't find it:
Where it says "comments", there're these 2 dots in the right up corner, one of them is black, the other is white (which is "stunningly smart", I know), you can slide the un-opened comment section field to the left* - this'll not only make the black dot change to white and verse versa - it'll also show you a message saying: "see what others said about this video while it was live" ... it took me "only" ~2 months til I figured this out today🤣 and I've been super-curious, how/why/to which new place the livechat had disappeared ~2 months ago tbh.
If you play the video again after this change and tap onto said message 1 time, the livechat window opens up and you can read the entire chat again now, your donation is the last one at ~ 22:36 and the chat ends immediately after showing the 5 viewers who got your gifts.
* & Afterwards you can slide it back to the right, if you wanna return to the normal comment section.
Knowing this also helps, if you feel you wanna delete something too private later on (and of course it's practical for moderators).

But if you're worried about this, I'll softly suggest to you to go to bed, when I notice you're going on a totally unrelated rant or something; DEAL!
I'm REALLY good in persuading myself to go to sleep again as soon as possible, when I should do too many tasks* all at once, I'm a master of "kicking the can down the road", so to speak - blame all kinda side effects and my personal tendency to procrastinate for this - so my special talent to put myself to sleep successfully every single time is legendary and feared by my relatives; I'm convinced it'll also work on you for sure!
* Tasks like cleaning my kitchen or any other room that will immediately get dirty again for example, in such cases it's just too easy for me to persuade myself to "let it be, let it be, let it be, oh let it be...", bc I already know well enough, that I enjoy cleaning sooo much more, when it's getting visibly dirty and I can actually see the difference afterwards, which is at least somewhat rewarding and satisfying to observe ... I don't dislike cleaning, but I h*te to overdo it unnecessarily.

I believe*, it's bc Zolkin's viewers, who mostly seem to be religious people, donate to his channel, so that the soldier gets around ~$300,- for capturing an orc alive - and while this may sound strange, downright cynical and cruel to you living in peace, you really have to keep in mind, this means for the soldiers to take much greater risks for their own safety and health, by not simply throwing 'nades into trenches with armed enemy soldiers - there've also been several instances with orcs faking to surrender, but trying to play heroes by surprise attacking the Ukrainian soldiers instead.
& Let's just say, it didn't always end well for the Ukrainians trying to catch them alive ... so I can't point out enough, how much of a greater risk this truly is for them.😢
Also don't forget, there're soldiers amongst them, who've lost friends, relatives, neighbors or acquaintances back home to ruzzian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, while they themselves are defending their country at the frontlines far away from home, so of course they're already angry and hurting.
War's brutal and $300,- have a much higher worth in Ukraine than for us here in the western world (so I 💯 get, why all of this may sound odd, hard to believe and relate), it's simply a system to incentivize them to make POWs for POW exchanges, despite all the enormous risks to their own lives ... I'm really not sure, how I personally feel about this, bc I definitely don't wanna see Ukrainian soldiers suffer or d*e while trying to save their invaders.
* & Please don't quote me on that ... I'm not super familiar with Zolkin's channel and practices, I mostly know this group of journalists due to Rick - and I only remember, it's roughly a $300,- bounty per captured ruzzian soldier, but I've no clue how this works in detail - guess it's possible, that I've accidentally and unintentionally misunderstood or misinterpreted something, so please don't be angry at me, if that's the case.
Hopefully this answers your question about the journalist's remark and it makes sense to you now.

I also watch Artur, Operator Starsky - he's former Ukrainian military and fought the ruzzians at Kyiv's main airport Hostomel in February 2022, which was 💯 a crucial battle, so that the capital didn't fall into ruzzian hands - and yes, sometimes also K from inside Russia, actually I found lots of them through Starsky and/or the almighty algorithm, with the exception of seperately finding Rick here through his dubbed POW interviews ... coincidentally
Rick's also Starsky's friend.
I also want to understand people's mindsets and I'm amazed by the Ukrainians mentality, patience, humanity under these dire circumstances, their love for animals and incredible resilience.
Rick dedicated some of his patches to his late cat Floki, who had died from kidney failure ... I can very much relate to him, bc I also had one of my cats dying from the same illness - I also went through the same vet visits and then the grieve of losing him - I was emotionally destroyed, but I didn't have to go through this during war time, while also losing friends and acquaintances left and right, I can't even imagine how devastated I would've been under such circumstances.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing you in chat one day, Rick's usually live streaming on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and twice on Sundays (that's bc he's also streaming from the Sunday Free Azov POW rally), he collects donations for their army ... but don't feel bad or embarrassed, if you've no disposable income ATM, we're always super happy to welcome reasonable people in our middle and grow our Rollers family.

Me too, Lisa, I'm tired of this too and I'm fed up big time by now!
& No, I haven't heard about the documentary yet -> if I've time and the right head space for it, I'll look into it, mainly bc I strongly feel, you wanna tell me something through the doc - probably about mankind's future and tech, but I could be far off about its main topic rn ... "right head space", bc as we've both already mentioned previously and still strongly feel deep inside of us, almost everything's taking a huge toll on our psyche and mental wellbeing throughout the whole war, as well as these challenging times we still have ahead of waiting for the (HOPEFULLY RIGHT) decisions being made at the latest this fall ... but despite our UA friends and volunteers struggling sooo hard on a daily basis, too many people are eighter pretty much indifferent to this and/or they don't care at all about UA and this just breaks my heart!
For the moment being I'll do, what I think is the best idea atm -> I'll simply put the documentary into my "watch later" YT-playlist, so that I can't and won't forget the video-title or something ... it's my way of kinda "bookmarking" it, til I feel I can handle it, TYSVM, also for your concerns about me and your warning, my friend!
Yeah TYSVM, that's already ALL I need to know regarding your d and no worries, I HAD TO LEARN it really fast in the past ~1 month, after unintentionally exposing a suspicious account/"cre*p" there, who constantly sent random friend requests to God knows how many women on (at least) 3 srvrs*, as I learned later on - so I basically already was an unwilling part (~ between bystander & participant) of some kinda "uncomfortable affair/scandal" there a few days after arrival (somewhat embarrassing!!!), but regardless I also got such a totally unexpected HUGE amount of love and support from all 3 communities there that it truly moved me ... guess that's mainly bc everybody knows me already from livechats and/or at least my YT name ... this also had the very positive effect of kicking me hard in the as*, to learn a lot there in record time, meaning I'm sure I can help you to thrive there ... but it'll take me +/- few days of 1 week, to contact you, as BEFORE our meeting, I really urgently need to upgrade and perfect my own overall security status a little bit more than it already is, just to ensure our future there will be a pleasant and awesome one.💕

Mr Volodymyr Zolkin and Mr Dmitri Karpenko are making these POW interviews since the start of the ru full scale invasion and I really can't imagine most military aged ru - who might get drafted, conscripted or dragged into this war one way or another at some point, haven't been watching at least a few of their interviews, as they're also on tg - so it really blows my mind, why sooo many ru conscripts, contract soldiers and whatever other ru soldiers like so called ru "special forces" there're, generally still seem to believe in the kremlin's lies of them not getting treated well when captured, but getting t*rtured instead; I just don't get it.🤦
I even remember a ru guy, who basically volunteered just to get interviewed by one of them, so obviously it's relatively well-known in certain ru (military?) circles, that they'll be treated very fairly, otherwise nobody would risk such an "adventure", there's really no way they'd do this just to get tortured and traumatized for life.
-> So I don't comprehend, why many still off themselves (or at least they try it) to avoid getting captured instead of surrendering.
& I also don't understand, why the majority of them wants to get exchanged ASAP, instead of staying in the safety of POW captivity til their useless invasion is finally over - I understand they've family in ru, but their best chances to make it back alive to them is waiting it out imo - guess they eighter seem to be too proud, or they lack common sense (or maybe it's something else entirely that I can't figure out atm).
