  1. Well it never really stopped, it's just called differently I think. & The whole "conscripts only serve in Russia" is also nonsense, bc Putin annexed the Ukrainian territories - Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporozhzhia (and of course Crimea in 2014) - to declare them as "parts of Russia".
