@jackjines3461 Thats not what people are referring to when they use the term "Racism." What you are describing is "prejudice," which is individualized hate rather than systemic discrimination. But there are plenty of Black, Latino and Asian people who have been attacked by whites! Thats not racism, thats prejudice which can co-exist alongside racism but really isn't the same thing. An example of racism is a real estate office that refuses to sell property to Black families. Or a Bank that refuses to cut loans for people-of-color. These are systemic problems related to social policy and the law. Getting beat-up at a black family's party because you are white is a horrible experience but it was a decision made by your attackers on an individual basis completely independent of social policy or the law. Thats prejudice, not racism. One could easily argue the hostility some whites experience when they drive through a black area is an understandable response to generations of legal segregation based on race. An aspect of racism that continues to this day. Racism is systematic discrimination completely independent of any one individuals decision to be hateful or violent. (Usually)
