  1. The electoral college must go for a number of reasons. It allows majority white states with relatively small populations to dominate the political process at the expensive of what the majority voted for. We have ended up with right-wing extremist as president twice in the last 20 years because of this flaw in the system. Democracy should be about majority rule, not the dictates of a minority desperate to hang on to power.

  17. Georgeta All people residing in the USA and subject to American law should be allowed to vote. As a matter of fact, voting should be mandatory for all US residents and citizens. We need more voter participation, not less. We do not have a problem with non-citizens voting but even if we did I think they should be allowed to vote. If you live here, you should vote. We also need to do more to defend ourselves from Russian interference in our electoral process. That is a MUCH bigger threat than non-citizen voting
