The new breed of British doctors are poorly educated.

The Bolshevik BMA mafia who run the country would never weather that. When they say “Jump” Labour and Tory health secretaries ask “How high?”
1
You are right but when Tory health secretary Jeremy Hunt proposed a mere 5 year tenure following the junior doctors strike in 2016 the BMA kicked off, he immediately backed down and it was never mentioned again.

One was whinging about this on BBC Question Time a few weeks ago complaining she had worked hard, the government was reneging on their pay deal and she wouldn’t be able to buy a house until she was 30 and when she had finished the whole audience applauded her sob story.

1
Don’t give them ideas.
1
Sounds like a no brainer giving world class international doctors priority over poorly educated British medics. NHS doctors are among the highest paid in Europe but provide one of the worst services in Europe. British taxpayers are getting poor value for money.
1
UK medical graduates are substandard.
1
No - highly educated foreign doctors should be recruited.
1
@moosky7344 The NHS employs more doctors now than at any time in its 78 year history - we train far too many.

1
The sheeple put them on a pedestal.
1
We should allow foreign competition in a global market. As the NHS pays competitive salaries we have a right to be treated by international world class professionals.
1
@cs.0903 The NHS is an organisation run by so called “medical professionals” for the benefit of so called “medical professionals”. Patients are a major inconvenience.
1
@jona826 Private businesses who receive gold plated, index linked public sector pensions.
1
@johnpaterson6112 GP practices buck the trend.
