  28.  @apebass2215  When I was at school only 10% of people could manage traditional A-levels and only 10% of passes were awarded a grade A. These days over 50% of people can manage modern simplified A-levels and over 25% of passes are awarded a grade A.

  32.  @phantomhorse8255  The trouble is the “also-rans” are blackmailing the government with the empty threat they will move to Australia, Canada, USA etc. if their salaries are not raised to the same level as those other countries and seem to be getting away with it. It’s a bit like a conference league footballer going on strike and refusing to play until his salary is increased to match that of a Premier League footballer.
