  20.  @ColaScan  The number of doctors in the UK has massively increased in recent decades to cope with the increasing population which inevitably lowers the quality and calibre of medical students as more “university” places are created for people who would not have made the grade when places were rationed and therefore more competitive. The £86 billion of outstanding claims for clinical negligence against the NHS is evidence of the deterioration of the quality of care.
