  2. NHS doctors are among the highest paid in Europe but provide one of the worst services in Europe. British taxpayers are getting poor value for money.

  3.  @iluv2b  It means they are paid more than their worth. As other comparable European countries receive a superior service from their doctors for a fraction of what the NHS pays their doctors it follows by definition that British taxpayers are getting poor value for money.
