The international market rate is only higher for well educated, properly trained, competent doctors which excludes the vast majority of British medics. Any British doctors who meet the necessary criteria have already accepted job offers. The remaining strikers would not clear the interviews and are now making empty threats - STAND FIRM SUNAK !!!

The entry requirements have been dumbed down beyond recognition. Modern "A-levels" are less challenging than the O-levels I sat at 16 and A-levels in soft subjects have been permissible for at least 23 years.
