  15.  @ukguy  the junior doctors claim that they have suffered a 26% real terms pay cut since 2008 is misleading as that figure is based on the RPI which is no longer used to calculate state pensions and benefits - if the recognised measure of the CPI is used instead they have only suffered a 16% pay cut in real terms.
