@Thinks-First He just cleaned and checked it could be picked easily. He did not alter the structure of the lock as claimed by the "bad guy". He was talking BS and should still have tried as the next one did.

@ashresearcher The manufacturers do send in mystery shoppers. A relative is a mystery shopper and took our newly purchased but older vehicle in for service. I checked it afterwards and found they had missed a loose wheel bearing, worn front brakes and timing belt due. So they had done the opposite of up-sell. I was annoyed that they had missed safety items and charged us a large sum for an oil/filter change and valet as it was I vehicle I had bought for my wife. I went to see the service manager and gave him a piece of my mind. The report went to Toyota. Next service was totally different. An itemised check list and much more thorough check of the vehicle. New service manager.....
