  1. There are 101 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus; 100 House Democrats and Bernie Sanders. There's 263 legislators caucusing with Democrats, meaning that despite progressive liberals being only 15-20% of Democratic voters, we get progressive legislation passed in the House often -- it just [rarely] makes it through Congress. The legislative agenda of Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris are aligned over 90% of the time. Making "gooder" the enemy of the good is a progressive pastime, but it is as counterproductive politically as are two other pastimes we share with most of the left, underestimating our collective strength and overestimating our bloc strength, and undercutting our own victories with our trademark reflexive cynicism and historical ignorance of prior progress.
