  1. Call your Senators. Ask them to pass #HR8 as a "no-brainer" minimum action. This bill, passed with bipartisan support in the US House of Representatives, simply closes loopholes in the existing firearm purchaser background check system that Republicans and Democrats voted into law together. The NRA (an organization that was designated a foreign asset of Russia in 2016, btw) isn't anything but a gun manufacturer's lobby peddling lies about the 2nd Amendment to sell more product.
