Trump is a symptom, not the disease. 3/4ths of Republicans polled by Pew Research in September 2022 want the United States of America turned into a Christian nationalist state, despite knowing that it would be unconstitutional. The Republican party is not a conservative political party anymore, it is a white nationalist insurgency.
