  1. It's the bigotry, st*pid. The white vote hasn't backed the Democrat in 60 years bc of the signing of the Civil Rights Act. This isn't about the fact that we're still stuck with the impact of the Citizens United ruling due to white, mainly Republican, intransigence on the filibuster.
