So, the People's Party is done then? If you are still relying on the big tent of the Democratic Party, you know the People's Party is dead in the water, Nina. We, as progressives, don't do ourselves any favors to forget we make up as much of the Democratic party as do conservative Democrats (15%-30%), while both of these smaller factions are each less than half of the moderate Democratic block (35%-40%). The For the People Act needed greater advocacy and backing from progressives if we want to deal with corporate money in campaigns.
