@otmargreb6110 - The key distinctions between Social Democracy (what is erroneously called socialism by you here) in capitalist economies and actual Socialist economic systems [are] vast. Social Democracy could be summed up as, capitalism with some important, and life-saving, limitations on the intrinsic cruelty it otherwise sure seems to engender. With different degrees of social support, the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Germany, the Netherlands, et. al., are capitalist economies -- albeit with massive state intervention in the markets -- with social democratic governmental policies regarding the provisioning of health care, education, housing, food, and employment.

Trump's assertion he could declassify by fiat with no record of the action is 100% false. There's good reason Trump is accused of violating BOTH the U.S. Espionage Act and the Presidential Records Preservation Act. Additionally, no former President can declassify anything. Some of the material likely isn't able to be declassified by any President.

Anti-government and white nationalist terrorism is the greatest terrorist threat to all Americans. Anti-government and white nationalist rhetoric has been the bread-and-butter of the Republican party's electoral strategies since Hoover. Since their coup d'etat attempt of January 6th, 2022, there's no denying that the controlling faction of the Republican party is engaged in an armed insurgency in collaboration with key domestic terror organizations. Trump and the majority of elected Republicans do not understand the rarified stuff this nation's founding was based upon with our unique place in history as the first nation founded -- as flawed as it is -- on the rule-of-law not the rule-of-man (whether under a mitre, or crown, or an awful hair transplant based combover).
